Hand’s On Fun!
A focal point of the On the Road Show will be the display of tractor-trailers from participating industry partners like Keystone Automotive, a brand new Martz Group bus, the Pennsylvania Motor Trucking Association (PMTA) Safety demonstration trailer, forklifts and other equipment.

WE NEED YOU!
During a recent industry study commissioned by the Logistics & Transportation Industry Partnership, area employers were asked to estimate the number of specific positions they would need to fill in twelve months’ time. There is a large demand for heavy-truck drivers, with over 1,000 required. There will also be a need for 306 warehouse associates/warehouse clerks and 200 hand packers and packagers. These three positions combined account for 84.1% of the total labor demand. (Wadley-Donovan Growth Tech, LLC. January 2007)
These are career focused jobs with great pay! According to a U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics report Management positions in Logistics & Transportations earn a mean annual salary of over $80,000; Financial operations managers over $50,000 and Bus, Truck and Diesel Engine specialists over $36,000! (May 2006)
