Logistics is the term used to define the activities involved in moving goods from a manufacturing site to the ultimate consumer. Logistics technology professionals manage all facets of this process to maintain the supply of goods.
Graduates of the Distribution & Supply Logistics Technology program may expect employment in entry-level, first-line management positions as supervisors and managers in areas such as traffic and transportation, inventory control, customer service, warehousing, production planning, purchasing, materials control, forecast analysis, quality control and operations management.
